As you all have known, Jay-Z made his comeback last year with the album, "Kingdom Come." His 2006 return release was not accepted by many of his fans. I personally really did enjoy the album, it had some excellent songs, but after those songs, the rest were all but mediocre. His 2007 release was based off the movie, "American Gangster," which featured Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington. If you are an avid Jay-Z fan, and know about his past, you would know that while he has growing up on the streets, he had similar involvements that took place in the movie. I think that this could be as to why he wanted to base an album off of the movie. It is a fantastic movie, and I really loved it. Jay-Z's newest release, which was based off that movie, is a big turn around from his "Kingdom Come" release. If you haven't given Jay-Z's latest release a listen, you are missing out! In my opinion, this is right up there with "The Black Album," and "Reasonable Doubt." Check out Jay-Z's 2007 release, "American Gangster."
