Game one is in the books, Osgood looked super solid in the next, making thirty one out of thirty two saves. The Wings also got extreme production out of some of their main playmakers, and got goals from Brad Stuart, Johan Franzen (The Mule), and last but most definitely not least, Justin Abdelkader (featured above, he has scored his first playoff goal, and is a former MSU hockey player). I don't think I have seen a prettier goal than the one Abdelkader scored today. He somehow grabbed the puck out of mid air off a high rising rebound, and then threw the puck onto the ice, and with one foul swoop with his stick, the pick goes off the far post and into the back of the net. It was truly something special, I will look to get it posted up somehow. Looks like my predictions are correct thus far, the Wings are well on their way to winning the Stanley Cup for a second straight season! I am going to say that the Wings win the Cup in five, but that's just me! The next game is tomorrow night at 8 P.M. (ET), and if you are an avid hockey fan, you should tune in, mainly because this series is one of the most high packed, energy filled, and highest hitting contests in the playoffs this year! Congrats to the Wings on going 1-0 in the series, time to sit back, relax, and watch the Wings kick some more butt tomorrow night!
GO WINGS!!!
