And the beat goes on... The Detroit Red Wings did not seem to miss a beat coming into their second (back to back) game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. In fact, it would appear that it was almost a deja vu game, seeing as the score was the same, and Chris Osgood made pretty much the same amount of saves (maybe one less then last game). Osgood was pretty darn solid, at times had me worrying, but for the most part, he did his job and helped the Wings get their second win of the series. Osgood went thirty for thirty one, and looked like a huge brick wall out there. Justin Abdelkader has gone two for two in the Cup finals, and now has a goal in each of the games. The Wings may be one of the older teams in the league, but their youth is definitely coming through right now, having Abdelkader, Ericsson, and Filppula score the three goals for Detroit. It should be interesting to see if Kris Draper and Pavel Datsyuk will be making a comeback anytime soon, their presence is greatly missed. I really don't think that there is much that the Pittsburgh Penguins can do, the Red Wings are simply just a better team, end of discussion. The Wings are going into Pittsburgh with two wins, and will look to take two more to become back-to-back Stanley Cup champs. Check out the highlights below!
