Well yeah...the album is, but definitely not the end of the Black Eyed Peas. I'm not sure if you guys have heard yet, but the band is scheduled for a new album drop in March. While the title The End may be a little misleading, it does not mean the end to the Peas, but actually stands for "The Energy Never Dies". The new album will be more like a music diary than a typical album if you catch what I'm saying. If not, let me put it in the words of will.i.am:

"It's a diary ... of music that at any given time, depending on the inspiration, you can add to it," the artist/producer/songwriter explains. "When it comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End,' so the energy really, truly never dies."

Will then goes on to discuss the fact that he's not a fan of the typical iTunes album we see today; an album that you can pick apart song by song in order to just take the hits and discard the others. Every artist puts a ton of work into each and every one of his/her songs; its a shame that so many of them go to waste in the public eye. He wants this album to work together, to tell story together, united, not little stories, divided piece by piece. The sound that you hear on this album may be a little different than you've heard before from the Peas, including much more of an electronic, dance feel. To be exact, "electric static funk".

There is currently no posted tracklist, but we do know that the Peas will be going on tour starting in May or June, so watch out for that info as we get closer to the Spring. You heard it here first (well actually probably not), but watch out for The END dropping sometime this coming March.

Support the artists, it's the least you could do.
