This past Thursday was a very sad day in the music industry.  Danny Federici, the organ/piano player for the E Street Band (which was fronted by Bruce Springsteen) passed away from melanoma.  For all of you out there who listen to Springsteen's albums, or are someone who listened to Springsteen and the E Street Band, Federici was a main component of the group.  He was a big part of the productions the group made, and was, "the jell that kept the group together."  Our condolences go out to Federici's family, the E Street Band, and Bruce Springsteen.

I agree, this pianist was the main component of the group. Federici was best known as the longtime piano/organ, glockenspiel, and accordion player for Springsteen's E Street Band.
