I like this one, and I think you all will to.  Then again, I have been wrong in the past, so I won't go out on a limb and say everyone will enjoy this weeks Remix of the Week.  Last week was a record breaking week, with 28 posts, it was the most ever in a single week, and I intend on breaking that record by the end of the week, so this week will be filled with some Random Crap posts (adding to the newly started "Random Crap Post" section), some reviews, possibly an interview, and for sure some things to be on the lookout for in 09'.  Anyway, this weeks remix is brought to you by Lostbeatz, and you can check out his other ones featured on his YouTube page by CLICKING HERE!  The video has only gotten 2,956 views but it warrants way more attention than that!  Check it out below, and if you want to holler at the guy who made it, just leave a message on the video!

Album Ranking: A

Well it would appear that The Killers have set a new Day & Age on the music industry, and their most recent November 24th release for sure is their best yet!  The album featured a sort of shakeup in The Killers music style as the album featured a more of a "Pop" sort of tune to it.  I truly don't know if that was what they were going for, but I liked it.  Seems like the whole Pop genre is getting popular as Kanye West has classified his most recent release as a "Pop" piece.  The album features the hit single, "Human" which sparked a lot of popularity with Killer fans.  The second single, "Spaceman" was featured a different side of the Killers music style.  It was more "Poppy" then the rest of the songs, I don't know why, it just seemed that way.

The album overall was very solid.  It featured a full lineup of songs that flow and mesh nicely and give the album a sense of stability.  Each track belted out the same confidence and each truly made the album what it was.  The great part about the album was that it wasn't as commercialized as some albums are, but that won't stop them from selling a ton of copies.  Their rep and two singles really pushed the album to where it will stand, and I think it will be one of their most successful albums to date!  So be sure to go out and pick up a copy of the album... I promise you that it won't be a let down, and if you aren't such a 'Rock' type of person, give the album a listen and decide for yourself.  Plenty of my friends who don't love Rock n' Roll love the Killers, so just check it out and be open to new stuff!  This will for sure make the Top 10 of 2008 list!

There truly is not much to announce about the album, as there has been little news on it, but we can tell you that the above artwork for the third studio album is the picture above.  The artwork is pretty intricate, and is one of the nicer, more appeasing, and pleasurable sights to see.  The first single "Human" was pretty darn solid, and I got a chance to give it a listen while they performed it on SNL a couple weeks back.  There are still controversies over what the true lyrics of the song are, and while listening to the single on SNL, it sounded like "Dancer" and not "Denser" (for those of you who don't know what I am talking about, there is controversy over one of the lines in the song and as to whether or not Flowers [the main singer] says dancer or denser).  Well that's all the news we have about the album right now.  Day & Age is going to be released on November 25th, 2008 (in the U.S.).

Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, and here we are.  The Killers have announced that they will be producing a third album, and it is supposed to come out in the Fall of 2008.  Rumor has it that the album will be much different then their most recent release (Sam's Town).  It is expected that the album will be going back going back  to what they originally started off with.  That sound and feel you got off their first release is apparently the style they are looking for.  I am excited to see what they do with their third album!  Expect more news on the album as more information is attainable.

Guys, you are in for a treat with this Remix of the Week! This is definitely the best remix that we are featuring so far, and I guarantee that you guys will love it. This week's remix is called "This Is Why I'm Bright" by Sully. He remixed the instrumentals, and a little bit of the vocals, from "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers, and the lyrics from "This Is Why I'm Hot" by MIMS. First of all, I love the song Mr. Brightside, and MIMS's song, while it isn't the best, is pretty catchy. The mix of the two songs though is undescribable, you just have to hear it to believe it. I also liked the mix of the two music videos that Sully did. What can I say? Sully is a mixing machine!!! If I knew who he was I'd give him mad props. Enjoy!!!
