I'm sorry, but this video is straight up crazy...
Yeezy is downright paranoid.
Thanks for the Peep from Alex @ LiveAGl

Thanks Max for the tip...now we know where Em has been!
What a thug.

My boy Max @ The Revolution Will Be Tape Recorded just keeps on deliverin' and deliverin'...I mean it's not even fair. He's getting us great hookups with Big Sean, J. Loonz, and now Chiddy Bang. Roughly 20 minutes ago I had no clue who Chiddy Bang was. Max is like yo go check out this myspace, and I was like aight but wtf is Chiddy Bang. 2 minutes later, I swear to you, I was gettin' my socks rocked off of me by the Kids ft. MGMT Remix that Chiddy Bang produced. And then while I'm rockin' out to it for the 99th time, BIG BABY COMES UP BIG IN THE CLUTCH AND WINS THE GAME FOR THE CELTICS!!! It was totally unreal.

Anyway, I feel like we're hitting up Chiddy Bang at the right time b/c Luis over at Pretty Much Amazing (who we contacted to write for but never got back to use :() started covering Chiddy Bang at the end of February! "Chiddy Bang is the Coolest Thing Since The Cool Kids at Pretty Much Amazing" basically outlines how amazing Chiddy Bang really is.

This song is just fantastic, and I was so excited that I just had to do Remix of the Week early this week; don't worry you're probably gonna get another one tomorrow too so cool your jets.

The beats make the songs, the insane lyrics supplement the Indiness PERFECTLY.

KIDS ft. MGMT by Chiddy Bang is INSANE.

French Producer JO A Making Electro RnB Beat

For those of you interested in music production, I know I am, and I'm about to start making some mixes using FruityLoops, you will love this video. While I was perusing Jordan Looney's blog over at Nerd-Hop, I came across The Sound of Music showcasing this awesome vid. French Producer JO A whips out his keyboard and starts mixin' it up on the spot. Watch the first minute or so of the video, and then skip to 7:10 to see the whole thing put together. These beats are STRAIGHT FIRE. Enjoy!

The kidz are back in the building...

It seems as if the best up and coming artists these days are smart dudes kickin' it old school in their COLLEGE DORMS!!!

Hopefully y'all are aware of our guys Mike Posner and Eric Holljes from Duke, so hopefully y'all will welcome my new Northwestern kid, Jordan Looney. Jordan Loony was introduced to me by my new blog friend Max over @ The Revolution Will Be Tape Recorded, and to be honest with you he's pretty fresh. Max is doing some promo work for him, so I thought I'd help him out with the lovin', spreadin' Looney's stuff across the interwebs if you know what I mean.

Max shared a few things with me about Jordan, showing me his first Mixtape Nerd Hop Vol. 1, and hitting me up with one of those singles, as well as telling me about his new mixtape that will be coming out soon titled, Nerd Hop Vol. 2.

From what I was able to listen to, Looney seems pretty dope, he seems pretty looney to me (in a good way don't worry). Check out the single, check out the mixtape, and just check out new music from the world's finest, the kids comin' on ur HUD.

Jordan Loony was just featured in The Daily Northwestern in a hot interview that looks pretty legit as well!

Check it.

I've never quite seen such an awesomely creative, pixelesque, and straight fire fan-made unofficial video for a song, much less a video for Yeezy song. I just picked this up on our bud's site Live A Good Life; seriously that guy posts the best stuff, I don't know where he finds it. Apparently he found this video on RapBasement, so good job bro. Please check out his blog and show him some love.

Enjoy :)!

I'm gonna hit you with a fresh 2 deff remix this week, which I mean I guess isn't really a remix but a compilation track. It's pretty hot and if you own a Maybach you should definitely pump this track up in thurr (and donate some money to us)!!!

Sorry for the childish and weird vernacular, I'm just not sure how to describe this track.

Interesting.
Fun.
Sweet.
Smooth.
Legit.
Straight Fire.

So who are you gonna hear in this song???

Your main men:
RICKY ROSS
KANYE
LIL' WAYNE
T-PAIN

Enjoy :)

Again, Feel Free To Get In Contact With Us, We Will Be Sure To Respond On A Timely Basis!!!

Due to the fact that we are awesome fresh young bloggers, our boy John Sullivan @ PotPolitics has asked us to write a guest post for his blog showcasing Tha Good Life Reviews.

In an attempt to not just totally spam his site, we are taking the time to compile a comprehensive history of the blog along with relevant biographical information and of course, Money Page Rank Link Juice From Concentrate.

For those of you who don't know us, we are ICECrush and SoSickWitItYo, or more colloquially Tyler and Alex, respectively. For years we have been attending Camp Ramah in Canada over our summers playing sports, meeting friends, and most of all, learning to appreciate music. Throughout our time as campers we learned to love The Allman Brothers, Phish, Grateful Dead, Dispatch, Tally Hall, Ben Folds, The Who, The Beatles, The Band, Jeremy Pappas, Umphrey's McGee, John Mayer, Akon, *NSYNC, etc. The list just goes on and on. We learned to love classic rock, alternative rock, progressive rock, jam bands, hip-hop, rap, country (only the Dixie chicks), techno, trance, who knows; we love the works.

We have learned though not only to listen to music, but to appreciate it. We were able to just chill out, listening to music with our friends, and to really live it. Live the life. Live the dream. Music is our life.

On October 3rd, 2007 (Yes our 1.5 year birthday is coming up!), our dreams became a reality when we first started Tha Good Life Reviews back on the stupidest domain ever: sickisity.blogspot.com. Ask SoSickWitItYo about that name. He doesn't even understand what it means himself, and he made it up! We were a little weary of starting a music blog because we just didn't know if we could do it, or if people would like it. I don't think we understood what it really meant to run a website.

Our first, and largest decision that we had to make was the focus of our blog. Were we going to be pirates, and offer downloads to the world, or were we going to be ethical fresh young bloggers and give the world music news, reviews, and all out awesomeness. As you can hopefully tell by our website, we chose the latter and have been relatively successful ever since, only posting up downloads that were legal, and leaving the illegal business to the other hot bloggers out there.

As we began to get more into blogging, we realized that we were quite good at what we did. We found fresh, eye-popping, aesthetic layouts, fun and useful widgets, interesting articles, great pictures, and most of all, we found our souls. Our blog is a showcase of our true passions, not a money-maker. You can't have a financially successful blog without loving to blog; that's just not how it works. For the time being we love sharing our knowledge with the world, and love seeing our blog grow.

We believe that the key to a successful blog is its aesthetic feel, and that's why we have devoted much time to perfecting the layout and using numerous pictures and videos. YES, we know that if your computer is a piece of crap it takes 22 hours to load the page, but trust me, the wait is worth it. My favorite layout so far is the layout that we are using right now (V4 - Arthemia Template). When I load up the homepage whether it's at school, a friend's house, or at home, I am proud to say this is my site. It just looks so professional, so fun, and so provoking, that many people don't understand that my friend and I run it. Sometimes I don't even believe it!

And as much as we love the blog, we are trying to push it out to other people so that they can enjoy it as much as we can. The most depressing thing so far has been the lack of comments. As hard as we try to get people to comment on our posts, we seem to always come up short. We have managed to make some friends with PotPolitics and The Mixtape Monster, and it feels so good to see a comment waiting for us. Other than that, it's just plain sad. In an attempt to gain more comments and to proliferate our blog even further we have started to reach out to the blogosphere, post up our links on DoFollow Blogs, comment on other people's blogs, feature other bloggers, have other bloggers feature us. We have really started to kick our blog into overdrive, and we think it's paying off.

So far we have achieved many goals. We have our own new domain, a few blog friends, PR3 (on our old domain), our own Shirts (YEAH SWAG!), a sweet layout, a love for music, great content, TWITTER, MySpace, Feedburner, Gmail, 58 Kanye posts, a sexy homemade bape groupies background by ICECrush, hot reviews, and much, much, much more.

In the future we are hoping to reach many goals. Our main goals are to increase daily visitors to at least 250+ a day, finally break the 100 readers on our Feedburner feed, obtain a responsive fan base, move our PR up (we did just start a new domain), get some money page rank link juice from concentrate, score another big interview (We already scored We The Kings), get enough visitors to start advertising, and continue to have fun.

As you can see, our goals are pretty modest, and whatever comes our way we will happily welcome.

We just wanted to thank PotPolitics again for giving us so many useful tips, and for letting us guest post on his blog, John, you're the man. We love you.

Our boy Big Soda over at The Mixtape Monster Blog breaks down March Madness for us, well really basketball in general, through a compilation of awesome basketball clips from movies and TV shows over the years.

He says:

Earlier this week, I was trying to decide what the all-time classic round-ball movies are for each level of the game—high school, college, professional, street ball, and yes, even Globetrotters. Well I did it, and I’m gonna share them with you, along with a movie I think you should check out if you haven’t already, one you can completely avoid if you desire, and a quality documentary to top it all off.
