"Best I Ever Had" Music Video:
More Drake News Soon!!!

Well this isn't a very big music video drop post, but definitely one that needed to be posted up on the site!  Two of the biggest musicians in the music game dropped mixtapes this past week, that being said, I decided to let the two big names musicians share a music video post on the site!  Peep their respective music videos below, and be sure to leave a comment on your opinion of them!
Jay-Z's "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)" Music Video:

Jay-Z's most recent single really has the making of it all!  Not to mention, the dude has had tons of other musicians jumping onto his track like swine flu on staff members (where I am working).  Anyway, be sure to peep the music video above, it sure is great, and if you don't have the track yet, then buy it on iTunes/Amazon, it is truly a sick song, and you'll be missing out if you are not rotating it in the car on your way to work!

Kanye West's "Street Lights" Music Video:

KanYe is one creative dude, I don't think there is anyone in the music industry who would disagree with that statement.  That being said, I think it is safe to say that this music video was pretty great!  I think the song itself doesn't get enough attention, along with the whole 808's & Heartbreak LP, but that is just one humble mans opinion.  Ya'll need to peep the music video above, it is truly a creative piece of art, and should be viewed by all out there!  Be on the lookout for more stuff coming your way soon!

More KanYe West & Jay-Z News Coming Your Way Soon!!!

Eminem has done it again, and with this music video, it marks a turn in the Eminem chapter.  This is one of the first singing tracks I have really heard Eminem do, not to say that he is singing the whole time, but there is some heavy singing for a hardcore rapper.  Anyway, peep the music video below, some pretty dope video footage, I believe I recognize some of it from D-Town, correct me if I am wrong!

Hopefully you dug Josh X last time we covered him because his has just dropped his first OFFICIAL single,"First Time" from his upcoming album, Can I Live. For a little refresher, Josh X-an-tus is is an upcoming 22-year old R&B artist from NYC who is one nasty piano player and phenomenal singer/songwriter. We see a different soft and slick side of Josh in this beautifully done music video. His girl is pretty hot too! Check it out below and leave some comments for our guy! Check out more information about Josh in this DJBooth Interview!

Have you ever been to heaven at night? I sure as hell haven't, but it would appear that CuDi has, and is depicting it in the new music video for his hit song, "Heaven at Night". The music video is pretty good, doesn't look like something that you will see on MTV, but it's still a solid effort from the up and coming kid from Cleveland. CuDi could never do another music video, never release another mixtape, and his LP would still sell thousands because he is so skilled and so well known for his music. The KiD CuDi takeover has already started, and there is no end in sight! Check back here for more KiD CuDi news and updates on his forthcoming LP.

As I was browsing The Revolution Will Be Tape Recorded, I came across Wale's new music video featuring Lady Gaga, "Chillin'". I didn't think much of it, and thought that I would watch it eventually, but it was no rush. Max said that it was shot on the streets of Boston, but I didn't think that had any real significance. I then get an IM from my friend Lev saying "yo that wale and lady gaga music video, the shoe store in it is this dope place in boston thats got illl shoes." And I was like, "BODEGA?!?!?!"

For those of you who have no clue what Bodega is, it's basically and underground shoe store housed in the back of a dumpy little convenience store (even the website makes you search for the good stuff). A bodega is a small convenience store that sells candy, soft drinks, lottery tickets, etc. If you had no clue that there was a shoe store in there, there would be no way that you would walk inside. My friends describe the store as very dark, old, and scary, with dudes chillin' on brand new macbooks "guarding" the doors. The beauty of the store is that to get into the shoe part you walk through a SNAPPLE MACHINE! Seriously! A Snapple Machine! Check out the video and see it for your own eyes.

Getting back to the video and the song though, they're extremely hot. Lady Gaga is great and Wale struts his stuff like the veteran he's going to become. Enjoy the vid, and if you ever go to Bodega, tell me about your experience!

Now the full thing leaks... Took them long enough!  I know a sick music video when I see it, and I could tell just from the pictures that GLC leaked that, "Spaceship" was going to be a sick nasty music video.  Anyway, peep the full music video below, Yeezy and Con's verses really just make this song and heck, the music video kind of makes me want to get my own spaceship.  Yo ICECrush, I think we need to invest in our own personal spaceship, bump using a car or private jet, we need a SPACESHIP!!!

The Wise Words Of GLC:

First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04 but for what ever reasons it wasn’t. I no longer wanna deprive the people of their rights! You have the right to embrace my concept as well as those of Kanye, Consequence & Tony Williams as we gave you are all! This is a story of triumph over the ills of society & the workforce interfering with your pimpin’ & in this time of a recession this record may be more relevant now than it was in 2004! Thank for letting me grow with you! Love, Life & Loyalty coming soon! Hello World! Oh yeah my player is fixed too sorry about the prior non pimpish auto-play!

"Spaceship" Music Video In Entirety:

More Kanye West, GLC, & Consequence News Coming Soon!!!

If you did not get an opportunity to see the music video last time (before it was removed on numerous sites), here is your second chance at seeing the "Paranoid" music video that leaked out about a week or so ago.  Thanks to whoever sent this to my inbox, and I don't know how long this will be up for, so watch it quickly before it gets deleted again.

Check out the music video below... It is pretty sick, and with 'Ye on board his "Spaceship", this music video has the makings of "OUT OF THIS EARTH" status.  Hi-Tech and Spacey is something that comes to mind when you watch this bad boy.  Not to mention, The-Dream has some pretty attractive female in this music video.  Anyway, check out the music video, not much to say about it, it's a rip from the TV, when we get a DVD-esque rip on the web, we will post it up or link to it!  Leave a comment about what you think on the music video, the album, and The-Dream.

I'm sorry, but this video is straight up crazy...
Yeezy is downright paranoid.
Thanks for the Peep from Alex @ LiveAGl

I am not going to lie, this music video is the freaky deaky... I am not a huge fan of horror films or scary movies, and if you are, then this stuff might be right up your ally.  The music video itself really does show how scary getting involved in drugs and how bad a relapse really can be... People out there need to be aware of the problems of addiction and drugs in general, and I hope that Eminem was trying to show the scares and horrors of spiraling out of control due to addiction and drugs (whether hard drugs or prescription).  I have been a firm believer that music is much more than just something to listen to, and it has a much deeper meaning!  Eminem seems that he is changing his whole persona from the "old" Eminem to this new and improved Em.  Eminem isn't done showing the new him, and I know that THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL TO THE UPCOMING MAY 15TH RELEASE ENTITLED RELAPSE 2.

On top of this song pretty solid, I think it does an excellent job conveying the hardships of being under the influence of drugs and addiction.  Drugs don't just take over ones life, it takes over their free will as well.  People are no longer able to function for themselves, think for themselves, and act for themselves.  On the contrary, they lose all that, and become slaves to a drug.  I think drugs are bad (whether they are hard drugs or not...), and if you are young, I would advise you to stay away from them, and live a clean and healthy life.  I don't understand the people that stoop down to doing drugs, and not only drugs, but smoking!  Your body clearly is not supposed to have these other outside influences affecting them.  I can't really grasp people who are okay with breathing smoke into their lungs, which they use to breathe out of!  If anyone can give me a valid reason, then I will be willing to change my opinion.  I am serious, if you are addicted, just watch the video, and realize that maybe some stuff needs to change.  I applaud Eminem for making the album he is, it is about time that music was used to tell a story and warn everyone the dangers of something.  I think what he is doing is great, and I think he is going in the right direction, I am amped for the May 15th release, and from what I understand the album has leaked already.  If you are a true music fan, and someone who appreciate music and the art of telling a story, please wait to go out and download the album.  Just buy it in stores or on iTunes, and give the man a proper "welcome back" to the music game.  I am sure the album will be magnificent, and that he will be warning others about the dangers of addiction and drugs.

P.S. Be On The Lookout For News On The Sequel Album Entitled Relapse 2

I love coming across crazy mashup stuff, but I can't say I have ever found something like this before.  I found a sick mashup that these guys did with only Tarantino movie scenes.  It really is a work of art, something that you don't really see very often, and when you do see it, your just left sitting in your chair like, "WOW, did I just watch that!?"  The Tarantino tape features not only excellent audio mixing, but even better visual mixing, integrating the movie scenes and streaming them all together to get a perfect fit.  Anyway, check their mashup below, and as a bonus, check out their other one entitled, "Rock & Remix".

Hot off the presses, I'd like to introduce you to the fresh 2 deff album art for the Black Eyed Peas upcoming album, The E.N.D. To be honest with you I think its incredible artwork and would love to see artwork like this from a lot of artists out there. It seems like BEP was so excited that they just had to release it as soon as possible. Will.I.Am decided to "lead" it himself!

A word from Will.I.Am:

"This is what we look like when fergie, apl, taboo, and will.i.am combine digitally..."

Boom Boom Pow (Official Video):

Watch for the drop June 9, 2009!
Support the artist, buy the CD!

I've never quite seen such an awesomely creative, pixelesque, and straight fire fan-made unofficial video for a song, much less a video for Yeezy song. I just picked this up on our bud's site Live A Good Life; seriously that guy posts the best stuff, I don't know where he finds it. Apparently he found this video on RapBasement, so good job bro. Please check out his blog and show him some love.

Enjoy :)!

Every now and then, I like to just drop off some sick narsty mixtapes, or some other form of media post.  I know that not everyone is really into the whole music video thing, but I don't really care, because this is our blog, and we post what we want!  Haha, anyway, check out some of the sick music videos.  Asher Roth, bringing the heat on that D'Angelo track, and Eminem is in full throttle here, for sure going to have a sick Relapse this '09.  Should be fun to listen to both Asher Roth and Eminem, seeing as so many people have drawn so many comparisons between the two.  If I was Em, I would be honored, A. Roth has some big shoes to fill if people are expecting him to be the next big thing!  Also, check out Busta's music video, featuring T-Pain, it is straight fire and rather dope.  That's all for now, e-mail us with your music video requests!!!

Busta Rhymes - "Hustler's Anthem (Feat. T-Pain)" on 106 & Park
